Step 1: Please log-in to your Darico account.
Step 2: Click on ‘Margin’ as shown in the snapshot below.
Step 3: You will be able to see the below screen. The UI of the trading terminal is similar to Spot Trading but with minor differences.
Step 4: On the left side panel, you can see the current margin offers that are allowed to trade within the Darico exchange. You can toggle between USDT, BTC and ETH to view offers corresponding to that crypto.
Step 5: You can change the leverages assets from the drop down in the Buy/Sell area. You can also directly transfer funds to your Margin wallet from your Spot wallet from the terminal. One click loan request option is also available if you are willing to loan funds for Margin trading.
Step 6: Once your Margin wallet is funded, you can start off by either going long or short in the crypto market. Make sure to be clear on the risks involved before placing your trades.
Note:
- You will need to fill the price column only when you are using Limit Orders. If you are using Market Orders, the price of the crypto pair will be the market price of that pair at that point of time.
- The default price that is displayed in the limit price column is the last transaction price of that asset class.
- If the market price of ETH/BTC is 0.02 but you want to buy at 0.01, you must place a limit order and not market order.
- The percentages shown under the Amount column of ETH refers to the amount of BTC you wish to use to buy ETH.
